Georgie is a Senior Specialist Clinical Consultant (14+ yrs experience), Registered Music Therapist (RMT 1075), Neurologic Music Therapist Fellow (NMT-F 3221), an NDIS-approved Advanced/ Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner (P1349157), a Developmental Trauma Specialist (10462NAT_ACF), and a Spiritual Care & Wellbeing Specialist (Graduate Diploma in Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care, and Spiritual Care Australia Member).
Georgie completed her Masters of Creative Music Therapy (with Distinction) at Western Sydney University, and has completed Neurologic Music Therapy International and Fellowship training, a Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Certificate of Introductory Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), a Graduate Diploma in Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care (Morling College) and theology coursework (hermeneutics), and Spiritual Care Series Course for supporting meaningful ageing for older people.
Georgie has a foundation in psychology and special education, and has completed a range of additional coursework in disability, speech and communication disorders, mental health, therapeutic skills and approaches, specialist behaviour, systemic needs and support, clinical supervision, high performance coaching, as well as chaplaincy and spiritual care areas (inclusive of volunteer SRE scripture teaching, Church children's ministry, and work experience in specialist dementia care).
Georgie has over 24 years experience in the human-services sector in paid roles as well as additional years in volunteer roles, over 14 years experience providing specialist behaviour support and behaviour therapy (including specialist clinical consulting services) to people with complex needs across both government and non-government services at primary/secondary/tertiary levels, over 6 years experience providing music therapy services to people of all ages across the lifespan,and over 12months providing spiritual care services and support for people.
Georgie has over 12years providing specialist clinical consulting services (primary, secondary and tertiary specialist clinical consultation and services) and support for people with complex support needs, their care teams, clinicians, Organisations, inter-agency guidance and collaboration, and for communities.
Georgie has experience supporting spiritual care needs for people with diverse needs including ageing, specialist dementia, complex care needs and high medical needs, palliative care and end-of-life care needs.
Georgie works across a range of sectors and settings, and has skills and experience in supporting people with a range of complex needs. This includes supporting people with crisis support needs (and acute presentation needs), dual diagnosis (intellectual disability mental health), psychosocial disability and complex mental health, autism, developmental disabilities and acquired disabilities, trauma support needs (including extreme trauma), schools (including SSPs and schools supporting students with complex behaviour, emotional, mental health and trauma support needs), domestic violence support needs and services, early childhood & developmental needs and services, complex healthcare & specialist medical needs (including hospital at home & medical models) and hospitals, paediatric brain cancer, complex and high-risk behaviour support needs, alcohol and substance use, community mental health, forensic support needs & contact with justice system, neurorehabilitation and neurodegenerative conditions, complex communication support needs, complex ageing, specialist dementia care, palliative and end-of-life care, specialist ageing and disability care, out-of-home care, kinship care, supporting people living in Insitutional care (including specialist transition support and consultation), people who are experiencing or have histories of homelessness, supporting refugees and people who have experienced offshore detention centres, people from culturally and liguistically diverse backgrounds, Indigenous people and communities, working in remote and very remote communities including during natural disaster crisis therapeutic support.
Georgie also has experience providing support for athletes with a disability as a prior Head Coach of an Australian Women's Goalball Team and Paralympic Preparation Program (2008-2013) developing and leading a high performance program (including as part of a sport science team); and as a prior Board member and State Head Coach of a National Sporting Organisation for people with disability, developing an inclusive sport program and pathway for school students, children and young people.
Georgie represented Australia as a Head Coach of a an Australian Paralympic team at various International qualifying and preparation events, and at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London (which resolved a 12year hiatus of a team qualifying for the games in the sport) and which supported the legacy of her father's role as Paralympic Head Coach from the 1980s to 2000.
Georgie uses a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual, trauma-informed, transdisciplinary, neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affiurming, neurorehabilitation, inclusive and holistic, strengths-based, person-centred approach, culturally sensitive, transperson and spiritually sensitive (including multi/ trans-faith) integrated practice framework.
Georgie seeks to empower others to reach their full potential, achieve their goals, enhance and holistically improve their overall health and wellbeing, support relational and meaningful connection, support spiritual care needs, and promote and enhance their quality of life.

Music Life provide Specialist Allied Health, Specialist Behaviour Support, Clinical and Wellbeing services for people of all ages across the lifespan.
We are always looking for new people to join our team.
We are planning to expand our range of allied health services as part of our allied health team including areas such as psychotherapy & counselling, social work, speech pathology and occupational therapy etc.
